Delete Your Account

You can delete your Swap account and its associated data at any time, either from within the app or by requesting it here.

Option 1: Delete in-app (recommended)

1. Open the Swap app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This takes effect immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app (for example, you've lost access to your account), email us and we'll process the deletion manually:

What gets deleted

• Your email address, username, display name, password, and profile photo are permanently removed/anonymized.
• Your book listings are taken down and no longer visible to other users.
• Your saved location is removed.

What is retained

Records of completed swap transactions and point transfers are kept in anonymized form (your identifying details are removed) so that the transaction history of the other party in a completed swap remains accurate. No personal information that identifies you is retained in these records after deletion.
